SBA Vocal Mechanics is designed to give singers a greater understanding of how their voice works as an instrument by teaching the science behind singing. This educational and interactive seminar focuses on 3 main principals:

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Upon arrival students will receive a packet that contains relevant information discussed. This class is broken down into three segments:
First through a series of short lectures, visuals, and group exercises Coach Sarah will educate the group on anatomy, breath, and sound. She will also cover:
The second segment will feature several mini coaching sessions (pre-arranged). Selected performers will sing their chosen song then Coach Sarah will implement technical adjustments to improve the quality of sound.
The class will conclude with a Q&A segment.
Sarah Beth Andrews is an actress, singer and coach. Over the last decade+ she has performed for Disney Cruise Line, Disneyland Paris, Equity theatre productions, countless concerts/cabarets, and several performances of her one woman show. She has a BFA in Musical Theatre from Montclair State University (where she started her vocal pedagogy studies) and is a proud member of Actor's Equity Association (AEA) and The National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS). SBA currently maintains a private voice and acting study.
